Interesting facts about Jon Scieszka, the author of 'Knucklehead'

After graduating, Jon worked as teacher, writer of magazine, apartment painter, lifeguard and carpenter.


His book, ‘Time Warp Trio’ which is talks about the history has been adapted into a tv show.


In 2008, he has become the first and ever ‘National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature’ by the Librarians of Congress.


Jon has received a tons of rejection letters from the children’s publisher until his wife put him in touch with illustrator Lane Smith.


He is the founder of ‘Guys Read’ It’s the web-based on program that helps boys to read.
